Train Manchester Opening
Here is a preview of the images we shot at the opening of Train Manchester last weekend. All we can say is that if you weren’t there then hopefully these images will do the place, and experience justice as it was a truly amazing day and facility, spent with an amazing community…making friends is as good an advert for CrossFit as any in our book, and this was one of those days.
Athlete and Coach Sam Briggs put everyone through their paces with some good old fashioned CrossFit workouts, her smile was infectious throughout the day and showed what our community is all about…and the competitors and spectators responded with great enthusiasm.
We had the opportunity to meet the team, and also witness weightlifting coach Pete Brzezinka rip through some PB’s like butter…including raising this massive 150kg above his head!
We met various folks from around the country and the globe who had come to show their support, and get behind the future of CrossFit in Europe. This sport is growing fast, and the communitycan only benefit from these people and the support they show.
Including Kieran Heinich from Bulldog Gear whom provided the massive pull up rig and monkey bars:
And a few more familiar faces, such as Jane Holgate, Dan Crisp:
Carl Dickson and also some new friends Phillip Trujillo and Anthony Thlang from CrossFit Mildenhall:
We also shot some video and interiews which will be coming shortly so stay tuned.
[oh...and if you didn't make it then you need to get yourself there and experience it first hand
