The BOX Episode 04 – Italy and Spain
In Italy, we’ll travel to the CrossFit box of Parma, in Emilia-Romagna and meet with the head coach Federico Biasetti Among the CrossFitters training in the Box, we’ll meet with Federico’s mother Ivana Bertolotti who is 58, took up CrossFit 1 year ago and enjoys the community aspect of The Box. We will also meet a strong candidate for the Italian Reebok CrossFit Fitness Championship Giacomo Giovanardi who has always been passionate about sport and started CrossFit 1 ½ years ago. In Spain, we’ll go to the Box of Alcorcon, a city in the metropolitan area south-west of Madrid and is headed up by Fran José Rodriguez & Nacho Merino. We’ll meet with Sara Jurado, 25, a former athlete who is one of the favourites to win the Spanish Reebok CrossFit Fitness Championship and Angel Monje, 44, a successful businessman who for the past 3 years has enjoyed keeping fit through CrossFit
Jamie Brown
Jamie is a professional Graphic Designer from the Preston area in the UK. He has been CrossFitting since 2010 after being hooked since his first workout. The sport has seen him travel through Europe with different athletes visiting even more boxes and meeting fascinating people from the community. I'm a self confessed adrenalin junkie who like to go high, go hard and go fast. A particular love of mine is skiing (freestyle / freeride) and if I could spend my days living in a shack on the side of a snow covered mountain I would.
