Get them to the Church on time
Boxrox were asked to shoot a wedding video for a friend and we immediately thought it would involve us turning up to a Church dressed in our Sunday best, poised and ready to capture the spirit of their special day, friends and relatives from afar mingling and sharing some laughs, bridesmaids looking beautiful, tears of happiness from mother and father of the bride, you know the deal. However…to our delight Sami Higson, being a fellow CrossFitter, asked for something a little leftfield from your traditional wedding ensemble. Instead she wanted to invite her CrossFit family from CrossFit Clitheroe along for a WOD with a difference. Charity shops were turned upside down and inside out in an effort to find WOD gear of a more formal theme. It was a good job Sami managed to find an unwanted wedding gown as the scissors were employed to remove un-necessary material and make it WOD ready. Coach Chris Templeman made up the workout which was designed to make it as much fun as possible for all involved. There was even a pre-wedding cake free from anything Paleo…after all it was a special weekend.
