About the event

WELCOME TO THE HOME-BOUND THROWDOWN!
ALL YOU NEED IS SOME BASIC EQUIPMENT FOUND AT HOME (scroll down)

“Zero Fox Alpha” will run from 20th – 26th April

Each event is standalone (Alpha, Beta, Delta etc)

3 A/B Wods, totaling 6 separate scored workouts each throwdown.

All athletes will compete on one leaderboard.

FEES + PRIZES
Entry fee is €5 + fees per throwdown.

Prizes for top overall & top male/female each week, 20% of entry fees*.

Top 10 overall get free entry to following event.

*Athletes must submit video link showing standards required to be eligible for prizes.

Every event is a different, with a new leaderboard.

WEEKLY TIMELINE
Mondays 8am GMT: Entries open, first 10 get free entry via refund
Tuesdays: Video Reviews & leaderboard fixes
Wednesdays: 10pm GMT: Previous weeks winners announced
Thursdays: 8am GMT: Workout 1+2 released
Fridays: 8am GMT: Workout 3+4 released
REGISTRATION CLOSES EACH FRIDAY
Saturdays: 8am GMT: Workout 5+6 released
Sundays: 10pm GMT: Score submission deadline*
* All scores submitted at once each Sunday.

100 PAID ENTRY CAPACITY EACH WEEK.
To get through all the videos & maintain a high standard we will have a strict capacity each week. Unless we can get extra staff to allow for more entries

The first 10 athletes to register each week will get free entry by way of refund.

Top 10 athletes (with video) will get a free entry to the following event. Should there be one.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Jump/Skipping Rope.
4 x 2 Litre bottles filled with water
Wall / Vertical Surface: higher than max reach.
Towel(s)
Back pack/school bag
Strong door & wedge (cardboard)
Measuring tape
Chalk or duct tape
Phone App for measuring Run distance.
Helpful extras but not absolutely necessary

Exercise mat
Video recording device/ 2nd phone
Youtube/vimeo account for uploads
A digital clock in background
2nd person as judge or as video operative
Extra towels

COMPETITION STRUCTURE
All athletes will compete on one leaderboard.

Male vs Female will have some different reps/loads/distances to balance the workouts.

Scaled athletes will have alternative options for certain movements.

SAMPLE WORKOUT

8 rounds for time

5 (m) 3 (w) Door Pull Ups **
10 (m) 8 (w) Hand Release Push Ups
15 Air Squats

** Alternative option for pull ups = 5 down ups + 15 Sit Ups

Score is total time.

No penalty for scaling (generally is just a slower movement)
