About the event
The Bare Bones Games is a no-nonsense functional fitness competition aimed at amateur athletes combining Dirty Dozen Races’ epic obstacles (without all the mud) with the latest WODs (workout of the day).
We’ve stripped everything back to the bone to ensure the games are accessible, challenging and fun. Are you ready to ‘work it to the bone’?
The Bare Bones Games are open to competitors at all levels, the exercises and obstacles will be designed so that anyone can take part. Everyone will be judged on who can do the most (reps or weight).
You must take part in the Games as a team of 4, with at least one male and one female. Weights, obstacles, and WODs will be set at a level that is accessible to all.
The Bare Bones Games will be held at Barleylands Farm, Billericay, Essex on Saturday 27th August 2016.
It will be an outdoor event but under the cover of canvass to give you the ultimate environment to perform at your best. Expect a festival feel with hot food, cold beer and attractions – ideal for family and friends to support you
