About the event
Mixed sex pairs will work and compete together across 3 WODs.
The first 3 WODs will be non-technical and accessible to athletes of all levels and backgrounds. The heaviest female weight will be 35kg and the heaviest male weight will be 50kg. The top 10 pairs will go through to the final where the movements will become more technical, think DU’s, MU’s Olympic lifts, and the weights will increase to 50kg female and 70kg male

WOD 1 2015:
8 minutes for both athletes to establish a 1 rep max on the following complex.
1 Power Clean, 2 Front Squat, 3 STOH (shoulder to overhead)
Score = KG’s added together
WOD 2 2015:
15 minute ascending ladder. 2-4-6-8…etc etc
Front rack lunges (60/40)
Russian KB Swings (32/24)
Hand release Press Ups
Score = Reps
WOD 3 2015:
12 minutes, new round for every 2 minutes. Partners alternate rounds.
20 burpees, in time remaining AMRAP of thrusters (40/30)
Score = Total thrusters
