The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is American sports association representing 1,200 American schools in the conference. The creation of these associations is likely to writing unit sports programs for colleges and universities in the US.
The grandeur of the NCAA is allowed primarily by the popularity of college sports in the US states and the importance given to sports to cultural and social level. Often, in fact, that university championships are followed more than local ones.
In Italy, a function similar to that of the NCAA was held by the Italian University Sports Centre, CUSI, although it is structured differently. The main activities of the association is to coordinate the Committees for college sports (CUS), operating locally at the university level. The cus today are 48 throughout Italy and in many cities reach considerable size.
Of fundamental importance, among the various activities carried out by CUSI, is the organization of sporting events, most notably the National University Championships.
Crossfit Redwall is born in a university center: Cus Ferrara, first of all in Italy to host a Crossfit box.
All this has been possible thanks to the great sensitivity that the CUS towards the emerging practice of sport and its close contact with the university world.
These are the foundations for the organization of the first race Crossfit in the university, which wants to join the Italian CUS 48 in the fastest growing sport. The goal? The national university championships Crossfit.
