Mikko who? That`s the slogan this year’s top three Europe’s fittest men are travelling with to California to give their first ever CrossFit Games performance.
Jonne, Lukas and Björgvin are the new, younger generation of athletes who took over European Regionals 2014.

Although Jonne was the youngest competitor in men’s category at this year’s Regionals, he dominated the events and became the Fittest man in Europe. He’s a former competitive swimmer, who now trains Crossfit with the past Games champion Mikko Salo.

Last year after event 6 Lukas had to withdraw from Regionals due to health issues, but came back this year placing 2nd in men’s individual category. He is also a Nordic Showdown 2013 winner and from July 2014 on, NPGL (National Pro Grid League) athlete, where he recently signed with Boston Iron.

Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson

In 2012 he placed 180th in the Open, this year Björgvin secured his ticket to the Games by finishing 3rd at the European Regionals. Prior to that, he was 3rd at the Battle of London 2014 and 4th in Nordic Weightlifting Championship.
