CrossFit Open Workout 16.5

The Crossfit Open WODs are the first hurdle in qualifying for the Crossfit Games. A great way to assess if you're competition material.

The CrossFit Open Workout 16.5 is the last Open workout for 2016 and brings together thrusters and burpees for a descending ladder. It’s a tough MetCon combination that might destroy you – at least without adequate preparation and the right mindset.

Instructions 16.5

21-18-15-12-9-6-3 reps for time of:
Thrusters
Burpees

Men use 95 lb.
Women use 65 lb.

note: The official weight is in lb. In the metric system, the minimum acceptable weights are 43 kg (95 lb.), 29 kg (65 lb.), 20 kg (45 lb.), and 15 kg (35 lb.).
