How to Build More Visible Abs in 3 Steps

It is possible.

Learn how to build more visible abs in three steps. Jeremy Ethier, a NASM and FMS certified trainer and Kinesiology graduate, explains how to successfully grow your abs and see the best results.

“Your nutrition and lowering your body fat levels are of outmost importance when it comes to achieving a six-pack,” Ethier says.

“But what most people don’t realise is that the abs are just like any other muscle: choose the right abs exercises and get stronger with them overtime and the abs will respond with growth and hence improve the overall look and visibility of your six-pack.”

3 – Overload the exercises

Ethier briefly covered this step on how to build more visible abs at the start, but the message has to be reinforced: if you want your six-pack you really pop, you’ll need to work the muscles with progressive overload.

“This is going to be the key to actually stimulating [the abs muscles’] growth over time,” he says.

To train systematically, he recommends sets of 10-15 reps.

Make sure you challenge your abs enough to stimulate growth.
