Strength Percentage Logic

Calculates your exact training weight by applying a percentage to your 1RM. Used in progressive overload programs like 5/3/1, Westside, and percentage-based periodisation.

Formula

Target Weight: 1RM × (Percentage / 100)

Tip: Most strength programs work in the 65–85% range for hypertrophy and 85–95% for max strength. Rarely go above 95% in training.
