How It Works
Karvonen Formula
Zone 2 is calculated as 60–70% of your max heart rate. The Karvonen method refines this using your Heart Rate Reserve (max HR minus resting HR) for a more personalised range.

HRR: Max HR - Resting HR
Zone 2 : (HRR × 0.6 to 0.7) + Resting HR
