One of CrossFit’s most recognizable athletes is stepping into a new kind of arena and this time, it’s not just about leaderboard finishes.
Dani Speegle is set to make her debut as a Gladiator in the reboot of American Gladiators, premiering on Prime Video on April 17, 2026. The move marks a major crossover moment for the six-time CrossFit Games athlete as she expands her presence beyond competitive fitness.
From CrossFit Veteran to Mainstream Spotlight
Speegle’s journey into 2026 has been anything but quiet. A consistent presence in the sport since her first Games appearance in 2019, she has built a reputation for strength, resilience, and personality.
Her best individual finish came in 2020, where she placed 13th at the CrossFit Games, and she has since remained a steady competitor, including a sixth-place team finish in 2025. In the 2026 CrossFit Open, she placed 336th worldwide, showing she remains active in the competitive season.
Outside of competition, Speegle continues to be one of the most influential figures in the sport. With millions of followers and her “Girls Who Eat” movement, she has become a leading voice for body positivity and empowerment.
