James Newbury and Dene Flude finished second in the Men’s Pro Doubles at HYROX Cancun 2026 with a time of 54:53. While that left them more than 2 minutes behind Dawson Miller and Marcus Wallace, and some way off their PB, it was enough to qualify them for the upcoming Elite 15 race in Brisbane where they will compete in the APAC HYROX Championships.
Considering they arrived in Cancun just 2 days before the race this was a strong, well-paced performance. There was relatively little variance in their runs with Runs 3 through 7 within six seconds of each other.

| Run 6 | 3:38 |
