The final event of the day was the interesting inclusion of the Viking Press. This was a great strength of muscular endurance, raw power, grit, movement efficiency and strength for the CrossFit athletes.
Event 3 – The Viking

- 60 Second Max Reps
In the final Women and Men competed side by side.
Martin and Fuliano both smashed out incredibly powerful performances, with 23 reps each.
Tall and Ibarra went head to head, and Tall went fast but failed on the 23rd rep.
Fiebig and Rodgers were a pair for the event. Fiebig looked confident, with a sly smile to the camera before the start of the event. He methodically worked through the reps, with 18 in 30 seconds.
Rodgers takes the lead with 24 reps, Fiebig moves into first with 25 reps.
Next up was Speegle and Panchik. Speegle attacked the machine, with 7 super fast reps before a break. She then managed to tie the score set by Rodgers with 20 seconds left. 33 reps for the American
Harry Lightfoot was on the floor with Abbie Domit. He has a deep dip and drive to cycle through his reps. 24 for him.
Haapalainen and Rolfe were next up, both taller athletes. 15 and 19 reps respectively.
Magda and Migala scored 29 and 24, which took Magda into the lead.
27 reps for Pepper, 18 for Campbell. Crouch scored 24, Lawson with 20.
Horvath and Adler were paired together.
Both looked steady and methodical. Jeff Adler failed at 12 reps, scoring 13 in total. Horvath completed 20 reps.
Dani Speegle wins for the women, Mertens takes the victory for the men.
