This video from Canadian bodybuilder Jeff Nippard shows the ins and outs of a full lean bulking day of eating by demonstrating how to eat to build muscle and lose fat.
What is Lean Bulking?
A lean bulk means a clean bulk where you’re trying to gain as much muscle as possible, with as little fat gain as possible. When bulking the goal is to increase the caloric intake to promote muscle growth.
Is Lean Bulking Good?
Lean bulking is a far more efficient way to try and build muscle mass. By focusing on building muscle without fat, you may see slightly slower results but you won’t need to go through a tough cut.
What is the difference between a Bulk and a Lean Bulk?
For a basic understanding, lean is when people want to look more defined and athletic, while bulk is when people want to add size to their muscle and look more muscular.
It is simpler for them to increase their muscle mass and equally easy to put on fat. Therefore, bulking is easier for them while toning down is not.
