The French Throwdown wrapped up on Sunday and with its conclusion came also the end of the first Sanctionals season and the last three spots to the CrossFit Games.
With no more means to getting an invitation to the biggest CrossFit competition, the French Throwdown was an “all or nothing” event, and athletes stepped up to the challenge.

WORKOUTS
The French Throwdown featured the heaviest dumbbell ever to appear in a CrossFit Sanctioned competition on the final event; namely 60kg (132lb) for the men.
The final event also had the scoring adjusted, as only 10 athletes advanced to the last stage of competition. Instead of having 10th place earn 60 points as usual, they earnt zero. This also meant all athletes – apart from the winner – got less points than usual, keeping the top spots of the leaderboard open until the end of the competition.
