Sportswear giant Jordan has announced the launch of its branded strength equipment collection. The line includes barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, racks, and other products. Known as “Jordan Strength”, the collection will be available to purchase from October 13, exclusively on Nikestrength.com and selected Dick’s Sporting Goods stores.
Inspired by basketball legend Michal Jordan, the strength line is targeted at home gyms and commercial fitness facilities. Products feature elephant print designs that are synonymous with Jordan footwear, as well as shoebox-inspired plyo boxes. Prices range from $25 for accessories to $1,750 half racks.
What Else Features in the Jordan Strength Collection?
Jordan Strength is inspired by Michael Jordan’s famous 80s conditioning program that was formed to combat the physical playing style of the Detroit Pistons. Weight training became a bigger part of his regimen, while also maintaining his speed.
Standout pieces include an adjustable bench and bumper plates, while accessories like J-Cups, collars, and storage shelves are also available.

The plyo box features the Jordan shoebox and accents referencing the number 23 made famous by the man himself. Jordan Strength was unveiled on September 15 at Athletic Gaines, a Beverly Hills-based training venue operated by performance coach Travelle Gaines.
Products were designed for performance, versatility, and durability, and the collection was described as a “premium line of training equipment”.
Why Has Jordan Entered The Fitness Market?
It’s no surprise that Jordan Strength has launched, particularly following Nike CEO Elliott Hill’s comments regarding diversifying its product range.
It’s the latest move away from sneakers. Jordan Strength is produced by Dimension 6 Fitness, an Oregon-based manufacturer that also works with Nike in the fitness market. Nike’s stock continues to struggle and has hit a 12-year low. Nike has even been removed from the S&P 100 Index, but remains in the S&P 500 for now.
