This is the first year Age Group athletes will compete in CrossFit Quarterfinals. The 30 top athletes from each division will then advance to the Age Group Semifinal, which is also held online.
This new season format has replaced the Age Group Online Qualifier, which previously determined which Age Group athletes would qualify for the CrossFit Games directly.
Age Group Semifinals will take place over the course of two weekends:
- May 26-29: Teenage Girls and Boys (14-15, 16-17) and Masters Men and Women (35-39, 40-44, 45-49)
- June 2-5: Masters Men and Women (50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+)
The top 10 men and 10 women from each age division will advance to the CrossFit Games to compete for the title of Fittest on Earth.
