RESULTS FOR THE WOMEN

Kara Webb on Tia-Clair Toomey:

“Oh damn that girl gets me moving, hey! Yeah, two Aussie chickies … it is sooo cool having Aussie chickies at the top. Like I can’t tell you how awesome it is. Man, she keeps me on my toes. I’m really grateful for (@tiaclair1 🇦🇺) because she makes me get more uncomfortable than I’d like to. … This is the best chance that I’ve ever had. Time will tell, but at the moment, I’m just having a wicked time.”—

RESULTS FOR THE MEN

@mathewfras 🇺🇸 went into the last event of Day 3, with a 134-point lead. He walked out with 174 points to give and can afford to take last in the first event tomorrow without worrying much. – But he would worry. Fraser is far beyond driven, and he's once again putting together a dominant performance that's got him in position to improve on 2016's historic 197-point margin of victory. – As has been the case in recent times, the women are providing the tension while Fraser stomps his rivals. Two women from Australia sit just 14 points apart: Toomey is first and Webb is hot on her heels. Two time third-place finisher Sigmundsdottir is 40 points back of Webb in the bronze-medal position, but the fiery Icelander will be looking to claw her way upward. – The #FittestonEarth will get their gold tomorrow as the 11th edition of the #CrossFitGames come to a close. 📷 @flsportsguy

About The Author

Editor-In-Chief at BOXROX. I come from a background of rugby and weightlifting. Growing up in the English Lake District, I spent a great deal of time swimming in its stunning lakes and rivers. In 2015 my brothers and I became the first people to swim the 145km length of the River Eden, from source to mouth, in 9 days. We also swam the Corryvreckan whirlpool, the third largest in the world, and Crossfit is a huge part of my training for these events.
