With just one event remaining after this workout, Event 19 shifted the focus from endurance and strength to gymnastics skill, coordination, and body control. Athletes had five minutes to accumulate as many successful repetitions as possible, with a maximum of 50 points available.
Event 19: Roll to Support AMRAP
Workout
As many reps as possible in 5 minutes of:
- 4 forward rolls to support
- 3 backward rolls to support
Rather than moving as fast as possible, competitors had to execute each roll with precision, keeping the rings close to their bodies to maintain control throughout the movement.
Women’s Event
Lydia Fish looked comfortable and efficient on the rings in the opening heat, while Greer, Wilkinson, Hannah Black, and Cheverie also moved smoothly through the demanding sequence. Cheverie topped the first heat with 14 repetitions.
The second heat saw Elisa Fuliano quickly establish herself as one of the event favorites. She progressed confidently through the workout alongside Abigail Domit and Tynan, finishing with an impressive 22 repetitions to set the benchmark heading into the final heat.
The final heat featured several athletes fighting for valuable points in the overall standings. Lucy Campbell entered the event just five points behind second place overall and celebrated after successfully completing her first backward roll to support. Former gymnast Arielle Loewen displayed impressive ring control, while Alex Gazan and Madeline Sturt worked methodically through the movement standards.
Former gymnast Paige Rodgers looked composed from the opening whistle, demonstrating outstanding technique throughout the workout. She ultimately completed the 23 reps to claim the event victory.

Men’s Event
The first men’s heat featured brothers Saxon and Spencer Panchik competing side by side. Kalyan Souza quietly established the early lead, moving confidently through the rings with Calum Clements and Nick Mathew close behind. Souza maintained his rhythm to win the opening heat.
Heat two produced one of the highest-scoring performances of the event. Pat Vellner, drawing on his gymnastics background, immediately moved to the front, while Victor Hoffer, Bayley Martin, and Ty Jenkins all demonstrated exceptional control on the rings. Martin and Jenkins each completed 24 repetitions, but Martin claimed the heat victory by winning the tiebreak.
The final heat brought together the overall contenders. Justin Medeiros pushed to the front early before James Sprague attacked the rings with confidence and took control of the heat. Dallin Pepper stayed within striking distance throughout, creating one of the closest battles of the event, but Sprague held him off to secure the heat win.
Bayley Martin’s 24 repetitions from the second heat proved unbeatable, giving the New Zealander the overall event victory.
