Hafthor Björnsson, known as Thor or “The Mountain” after the hit-series Game of Thrones, has his full day of eating. It usually consists of 5 meals spread throughout the day, with the last one just before sleeping.
Hafthor Björnsson is 2.06m high and weights around 150kg. And that is his measurement after his training boxing began. Before that, at the peak of his strongman days, he used to weigh more than 200kg. “I used to eat 10.000 calories a day, now it’s not even close to that,” he says.
Thor uploaded a new YouTube video in which he shares his full day of eating. There are a total of 5 meals throughout the day, packed with a lot of calories. Unfortunately, he did not disclose how many calories he ate at the end of the end, but we guessed it is around 6.000.
He starts every day eating steak for breakfast together with oats and berries. Do you think that is crazy? Watch the full video below.
For his workouts, Hafthor Björnsson is now choosing to swim and use the assault bike more often. The reason, Thor says, is because he is a big guy and there is less pressure on his knees doing these exercises compared to running, for example. “Just try to minimize the risks of getting injured.”
