Amazfit has unveiled the Balance 3 and Balance Ultra, two new premium smartwatches designed to meet the evolving demands of hybrid athletes.
As sports like HYROX continue to grow, athletes increasingly need tools that do more than count steps or record workouts. Training today often involves balancing endurance, strength, recovery, work commitments, and daily stress, creating a need for smarter performance insights rather than simply more data.
The new Balance series aims to address that challenge through Amazfit’s Hybrid Training ecosystem, which connects training metrics, recovery indicators, sleep tracking, and lifestyle factors through the Zepp app.
Built Around Modern Performance Needs
Both watches feature a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass protection, dual-band GPS, six satellite positioning systems, advanced health tracking, and onboard storage.
The Balance 3 is aimed at athletes looking for an everyday training companion, available in both stainless steel and titanium versions. Meanwhile, the Balance Ultra serves as the flagship model, featuring a Grade 5 titanium construction and extended battery life of up to 30 days.
Alongside traditional performance metrics such as heart rate, sleep quality, stress levels, blood oxygen monitoring, and heart rate variability, the watches are designed to help athletes understand how different training and recovery factors influence long-term performance.
A Growing Focus on HYROX Athletes
One of the standout additions is the continued expansion of Amazfit’s HYROX-specific features.
Both devices include race simulations, dedicated HYROX training plans, Virtual Pace tools, and post-race analytics that allow athletes to review pacing strategies, station performance, and cumulative race data.
For HYROX World Championship qualifier Bethany Sachtleben, that combination of performance tracking and insight has played a significant role in her transition from professional running to hybrid racing.
“Amazfit gave me the opportunity to race HYROX Boston, and after that, things just started to click,” she shared in an Instagram video posted by Amazfit.
After spending nearly a decade competing as a professional distance runner, Sachtleben found a new perspective through HYROX.
“What HYROX really changed, it wasn’t the way I trained. It changed the way I viewed my body,” she said. “Amazfit helped me understand the data behind it and how to get stronger.”
She also highlighted how the Zepp app helped reinforce that shift.
“HYROX introduced me to a completely different mindset. One where I celebrate strength, and I can feel my strength and literally see it happen in the Zepp app.”
More Than Performance Tracking
As hybrid racing continues to attract athletes from endurance, strength, and functional fitness backgrounds, Amazfit’s latest Balance watches appear focused on a simple goal: helping athletes understand not just how they perform, but why.
With deeper recovery insights, structured training tools, and growing HYROX integration, the Balance 3 and Balance Ultra represent Amazfit’s strongest push yet into the rapidly expanding hybrid fitness market.
