“I’ve found that the most important things are kind of the things that you hear all the time: sleep, exercise, and diet.”

The issue that Joey Schweitzer and so many people go through is to look at those aspects of sleeping, exercising and dieting as a checklist. Rather, the basics are the foundation of what might help you feel energised throughout the day.

Here is what Joey Schweitzer did to help him stop feeling tired all the time:

  1. Stop misusing caffeine – don’t drink caffeine past lunchtime
  2. Improve your sleep opportunity – think about how long it usually takes for you to sleep while in bed, don’t assume you will fall asleep as soon as you go to bed and those hours, at the end of the week, add up

  4. Consider having blackout type of curtains to keep the light away from your face during the early hours of the morning
  5. Move your body – the more energy you spend, the higher the baseline of energy you get to use
  6. Go back to nutrition basics – avoid packaged food, drink enough water, avoid sugar
