Aimee Cringle has won the 2026 CrossFit Games. She secured 1394 points from 20 Events.

The athlete from The Isle of Man went into the final day with five first place finishes under her belt and 1190 points, more than a 100 point lead over Emma Lawson in second place.

Aimee Cringle’s path to becoming the 2026 Fittest Woman on Earth was built on extraordinary consistency across every domain of fitness. She averaged an impressive 5.5th-place finish across all 20 scored events. More importantly, she rarely gave away points, finishing outside the top 10 only twice during the entire competition.

Cringle’s campaign gathered momentum early after opening with 10th in the 2007 Hopper. She then claimed victories in the Ranch 7200M, CrossFit Total Deadlift, and Grass Track Race, proving she could dominate endurance, absolute strength, and speed. She backed those wins up with 3rd in the CrossFit Total Press, while limiting the damage with a 17th-place finish in the squat, her lowest placing of the Games.

The arena events further highlighted her incredible versatility. She placed 6th in Swim Standard, 6th in Climbing Snail ’26’, 7th in the 3D Throw, 4th in the Run Hang Squat Clean, 8th in the Handstand Sprint, and 4th in The Hopper 2026, before producing another outstanding run on the final weekend with victories in both the 500 Run and Triple Pig.

Although she finished 13th in the 2020 Speed Snatch, Cringle immediately responded with 7th in Echo Thruster, 4th in Jump Pull Yoke, 4th in Machine 7200M, 4th in Roll to Support AMRAP, and an 8th-place finish in the Fibonacci Final, comfortably securing the championship.

The statistics underline just how complete her performance was. Cringle won five events, stood on the podium six times, recorded 11 top-five finishes, and finished inside the top 10 in 18 of the 20 events. She never relied on one particular strength to carry her through the competition. Instead, she consistently scored near the front whether the test involved endurance, heavy lifting, gymnastics, sprinting, or classic mixed-modal CrossFit. That ability to avoid costly finishes while repeatedly challenging for event wins made her a thoroughly deserving 2026 CrossFit Games champion.

This is the first time a female athlete from The UK has won The CrossFit Games since Sam Briggs in 2013.
