In just her second Pro race Annie Emilsson has gone 1:00:07 in Copenhagen to take the Women’s Pro win against a stacked field. Lining up against Elite 15 athletes like Jana Lebenstedt, Melanie Maurer and Sophia Parvizi Wayne, Emilsson could have gone sub-60 had it not been for a hiccup at the end of the row where she briefly ran the wrong way in the Roxzone.
Annie’s only previous HYROX was a 1:01:10 in the Women’s Pro in Stockholm in late 2025, which was good enough for second place. Just 3 months later she has taken more than a minute off that time, set a Swedish record and is top 20 in the list of fastest women ever to do a Pro HYROX.
To cap off her weekend she also won the mixed doubles race with Mathias Ramberg.
Let’s look at how her race broke down. In Runs 3 through 8 there was only 8 seconds variance, suggesting she was very much in control of her pacing and avoided any heart rate spikes.
| Run 1 | 5:32 |
| Run 2 | 3:18 |
| Run 3 | 3:31 |
| Run 4 | 3:34 |
| Run 5 | 3:35 |
| Run 6 | 3:31 |
| Run 7 | 3:30 |
| Run 8 | 3:38 |
| Roxzone | 3:54 |
In the workouts she finished top 10 at every station except the Farmer’s Carry.
| 1000m Ski Erg | 4:22 (5th) |
| 50m Sled Push | 2:23 (6th) |
| 50m Sled Pull | 3:49 (7th) |
| 80m Burpee Broad Jumps | 2:59 (6th) |
| 1000m Row | 4:29 (7th) |
| Farmer’s Carry | 1:42 (15th) |
| 100m Sandbag Lunges | 2:55 (4th) |
| Wall Balls | 3:28 (3rd) |
At this rate it won’t be long until we see Annie Emilsson going sub-60 and racing in the Elite 15.
