Body Mass Index, better known as BMI, has been the go to health measurement for decades. Doctors, insurance companies, researchers, and fitness professionals have all used it to classify people as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese. It is quick, simple, and requires nothing more than height and weight. The problem is that health is much more complicated than a simple ratio.
