CrossFit Open 2021 Leaderboard: Toomey-Orr and Adler Take the Win

The 2021 CrossFit Open is in the books and the winners have been set. While the leaderboard is full of well-known athletes, there are also quite a few athletes you haven’t heard much about with notable and impressive performances.

Tia-Clair Toomey and Jeffrey Adler Win 2021 CrossFit Open

Four-time Fittest Woman on Earth, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr, and 2020 fifth Fittest Man on Earth, Jeffrey Adler, emerged as the overall winners of this year’s CrossFit Open.

Toomey-Orr’s impressive performance landed her in 6th, 11th, 1st and 8th place worldwide on each Open workout respectively. The Australian athlete might be the reigning CrossFit Games champion, but this is the first year she has won the Open overall.

“Toomey-Orr had secured wins in every stage of CrossFit Games competition except the worldwide Open — until this year when she completed her sweep,” CrossFit wrote.

Canadian Jeffrey Adler finished all his Open workouts within the top 50 worldwide, ranking 20th, 8th, 27th and 46th respectively. The 26-year-old became Canada’s national champion last year and made her second trip to the Games, finishing 5th overall.

Toomey-Orr and Adler will each receive US$15,000 for the win.
