XENOM, The Decathlon of Fitness™ Launches in London This August

A new global fitness competition is coming to the UK for the first time. XENOM, the Decathlon of Fitness™, is a two-day stadium-scale competition consisting of 10-events that tests, standardizes and scores total human performance. Using a universal points-based scoring system, it creates the first repeatable global benchmark in functional and hybrid fitness.

XENOM will host its first London event at Olympia on 29-30 August, following its inaugural US competition at The Dallas Cowboys Training Facility this June.

Unlike single-discipline events, XENOM uses a fixed 10-event structure designed to measure performance across multiple disciplines: strength, endurance and technical skill. All competitors, from elite athletes to dedicated amateurs, complete the same events and are scored though a points-based system, allowing direct comparison on a global scale and a measurable benchmark to track progression.

Meeting Demand for Standardized Fitness Competition

The London event comes after more than 2,000 athletes registered early interest through a ballot system, reflecting growing appetite for structured fitness competition in the UK.

“The functional fitness community in the UK and specifically London has exploded over the past decade, but there’s been no consistent way to benchmark progress or compare performance across different competitions,” said Keith Barlow, XENOM founder and CEO. “We’re providing that standard – a repeatable test that athletes can use to track improvement season after season.”

The format positions XENOM as an alternative to existing fitness competitions with the key difference being event consistency and the breadth of fitness and skill measured. While many competitions change their workouts each year, or only measure a narrow expression of fitness or skill, XENOM’s fixed structure allows athletes to train specifically for known challenges and measure improvement over time.
