Event 16/17: Echo Thruster/Jump Pull Yoke

The Echo Thruster proved to be a decisive separator among the overall contenders, with Dallin Pepper producing the fastest performance of the event in 4:55.43 to claim 100 points. James Sprague stayed within striking distance, finishing second in 5:18.14, while Jayson Hopper completed the podium in 5:19.08, less than a second behind Sprague.
The margins remained incredibly tight through the top six, with Colten Mertens (5:21.44), Austin Hatfield (5:22.07), and Jay Crouch (5:22.14) all finishing within just 26.71 seconds of Pepper. Justin Medeiros also remained competitive in seventh with 5:27.81, while Victor Hoffer (5:31.81), Nika Maisuradze (5:32.35), and Aniol Ekai (5:37.24) rounded out the top ten.
The results showed that success depended on maintaining a relentless pace across both the Echo bike and heavy thrusters, with only 41.81 seconds separating first from tenth in one of the closest endurance events of the weekend.

The Echo Thruster produced one of the closest races of the weekend, with Ellie Turner claiming the event win in 5:54.27. Turner was the only athlete to finish in under six minutes, while Lucy Campbell placed second in 6:00.78 and Mirjam von Rohr secured third in 6:07.74.
Olivia Kerstetter narrowly missed the podium in 6:08.32 before Emma Lawson completed the top five in 6:23.34. Siria Meha (6:39.26), Aimee Cringle (6:42.05), and Alex Gazan (6:42.21) were separated by just 0.16 seconds, highlighting how competitive the middle of the leaderboard was.
Overall, only 1 minute 15.68 seconds separated first from tenth, demonstrating that maintaining a consistent pace on the Echo bike while efficiently cycling the thrusters was the key to success.

The battle for the top five remained extremely close as Austin Hatfield claimed fourth in 3:45.98, narrowly ahead of Jeffrey Adler, who crossed the line in 3:46.53. Overall contenders Dallin Pepper (3:50.16) and Jay Crouch (3:54.09) also delivered strong performances to finish sixth and seventh, while Moritz Fiebig, Nick Mathew, and Calum Clements completed the top ten.
With only 41.72 seconds separating first from tenth, the event left little room for error, rewarding athletes who maintained speed and efficiency across every station.

Haley Adams (3:55.44) was the last athlete to finish in under four minutes, while Rachel Noel, Siria Meha, Miley Wade, and Arielle Loewen rounded out the top ten. Overall, only 50.07 seconds separated first from tenth, illustrating how tightly contested the event was from the opening run to the final yoke carry.
