Last year she was 17th at the Meridian Regional, but this year she could throw down some impressive results if she continues on in her current form. Her impressive rise is no accident; the Northern Irish Athlete puts her heart and soul into every WOD.
6. FREDERIK AEGIDIUS
DENMARK
3rd in the European Open, he took 2nd in both 16.1 and 16.2 in Europe. “I can push myself as far as I possibly can,” he said in pre-games interview. “I can’t blame anybody if I’m not good enough. I can only yell at myself and go back to the gym and train even harder.” Combined with his winning mentality, Aegidius is also an incredibly versatile and well rounded athlete. Training with Annie Thorisdottir, they both continually push each other to achieve great results.
