Beat the Đukić Challenge – Are You Fitter than the Serbian Brothers? 7 Workouts to Try

Luka Đukić and Lazar Đukić have challenged the CrossFit community to be fitter than them.

Đukić. You must have seen that name on somebody’s shirt during the CrossFit Games this year. Luka Đukić and Lazar Đukić are brothers from Serbia, they competed for the 1st time this year in Madison and they challenge people around the world with their own workouts.

Lazar Đukić finished 9th overall at the CrossFit Games, ahead of Noah Ohlsen and Scott Panchik, while his younger brother Luka was cut after the 10th event and finished 29th.

The brothers started a hashtag in March 2020 challenging people to be better than the Serbian duo. #BeatTheDjukic – it is spelt Djukic, with “J” in their names, because that is how you pronounce it, although not how you write it in Serbian.

Workout 1:

9 minutes AMRAP:

  • 27-21-15-9
  • Cal row
  • Thrusters 40kg

If there is time remaining, AMRAP:

Score A: time for rows and thrusters.

Score B: number of muscle-ups.

Lazar score – 6:30 / 20 ring muscle-ups

Luka score – 7:00 / 18 ring muscle-ups

Workout 2

10 minutes AMRAP:

  • 20 air squats
  • 15 V-ups
  • 10 push-ups

Workout 3

For time:

  • 21 muscle-ups
  • 42 cal row
  • 15 bar muscle-ups
  • 30 cal row
  • 9 bar-muscle ups
  • 18 cal row

Time cap: 15 minutes

Workout 4

5 rounds for time:

  • 2 legless rope climb 5-metre
  • 4 parallette handstand push-up
  • 6 dumbbell squat snatch 42.5/27.5 kg

For time:

  • 50 GHD sit-ups
  • 25 ring muscle-ups
  • 25 power cleans

Time cap: 12 minutes
