170kg PAUSE SQUATS WITH MIKKO SALO

Mikko Salo: “Nothing special, just semi-old man squatting 3×1 pause front squat with 170kg (last set on film)…without pain.”

BENCH PRESS PR FROM JONNE KOSKI

Jonne Koski: “When I was still competing in swimming I used to hit the gym after each swim session to play around with weights (mostly bench press 😂) because I found it fun eventhough it didn’t really make my swimming any better. I don’t really do bench press that often anymore but today I finally broke my over 5 year old PR by 1lbs at 321lbs!”

AND JONNE HAVING A LITTLE FUN…

About The Author

Editor-In-Chief at BOXROX. I come from a background of rugby and weightlifting. Growing up in the English Lake District, I spent a great deal of time swimming in its stunning lakes and rivers. In 2015 my brothers and I became the first people to swim the 145km length of the River Eden, from source to mouth, in 9 days. We also swam the Corryvreckan whirlpool, the third largest in the world, and Crossfit is a huge part of my training for these events.
