Last week, CrossFit announced the CrossFit Games would be rescheduled amidst “travel restrictions” and “circumstances beyond control.”
Dave Castro said he’d discussed new dates and introduced athletes qualified to the Games to CrossFit’s incoming owner and CEO, Eric Roza.
Great call with the athletes who qualified to the games this year. Talked about new dates and they heard from @RozaEric #crossfitgames #crossfit @CrossFitGames @crossfit

The Games were set originally set to take place between July 29 and August 2 in Madison, Wisconsin. Following the global pandemic, they were then moved to Aromas, California.
The competitive field was also reduced to 60 individual athletes and it was announced the Games wouldn’t be a public event.
This will be the last year Dave Castro programs for the CrossFit Games.
