Help Save and Rebuild Lock 60

“Hi, my name is Michael Donahue, and I am a friend fundraising for Michelle Wisla, owner & coach of Lock 60 Athletics in Phoenixville, PA.

The recent historic rainfall from the remnants of Hurricane Ida put the entire business under 6 feet of water and mud, destroying or rendering almost everything unusable.

She is a local small business owner who has put everything she has into making this a community success story. Michelle is always giving back to the community, including adopting the Schuykill River Trail through the borough to keep our area beautiful, and many local events that help keep our community vibrant.

2020/21 were tough years for gyms nationwide, reeling from the effects of COVID-19. Just as things were back on the upswing, mother nature hit her with a 100+ year flood.

Almost everything was destroyed including all of the equipment, cleaning supplies, TV monitors, audio system, refrigerators, flooring…this is only a fraction of the list.

Who knows when, and if, insurance will come through eventually. Funds raised will go directly to purchasing everything needed to get back up and running as quickly as possible.

Every donation from $1 on up would go a long, long way to help a small business owner, and a friend to the community get back onto her feet.

She has helped many be the best that they can be, now we want to help her and her small business be the best that they can be again.

Thank you!”
