After the Athlete Ceremony in the Coliseum at the Alliant Energy, Dave Castro made some big announcements about the workouts for the weekend. On Saturday, we will witness the following 2 workouts, each worth 100 points, except there is a twist.
The workouts are as follows:
21-15-9 reps for time of:
M 85 lb. F 55 lb.
Time cap: 6 minutes for BC1
12-9-6 reps for time of:
M 125 lb. F 85 lb.
Time cap: 6 minutes for BC2
Bicouplet 1 and Bicouplet 2 will be separately scored events. Athletes will have 6 minutes to complete one bicouplet, then a 1-minute transition before starting the next bicouplet.
So here’s the deal, Dave Castro also announced that the fans will vote for the order of the workouts. So you get to choose how the athletes will face these two workouts. Which one should be first and which one should be second? It’s up to you!
