The CrossFit Open Workout 18.2 live announcement will see top Games athletes Patrick Vellner and Noah Ohlsen go head to head in the next Open WOD. After Dave Castro, Director of The CrossFit Games, has revealed the WOD, both athletes will complete the workout in a head to head race.
18.2 will be announced on Thursday the 1st of March from CrossFit R.A.W in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. From this time onwards, all athletes that have signed up to do the Open workouts will have until Monday night to submit their scores.

Patrick Vellner is 27 years old and from Canada, Where he is a full time chiropractic student in Toronto. He finished in third place at both the 2016 and 2017 CrossFit Games. His first Regionals competition took place in 2014. Patrick first made it to The CrossFit Games in 2015 as part of the team competition, then in 2016 for the first time as an individual.
By his own admission, he looks like the CrossFit version of Ed Sheeran.

- 20 dumbbell snatches
- 15 burpee box jump-overs
- 30 dumbbell snatches
- 15 burpee box jump-overs
- 40 dumbbell snatches
- 15 burpee box jump-overs
- 50 dumbbell snatches
- 15 burpee box jump-overs
Men use 50-lb. dumbbell and 24-in. box.
