What J tried was a series of exercises to build his upper body strength to be able to do muscle-ups. They included:
- Bodyweight row (Australian pull-ups)
- Hanging L-sit
- Jumping muscle-ups
- Negative muscle-ups
His mentality was that, no matter how tired or weak you are, there is always something you can do to get better and closer to your objective.
As you will see in his video below, his first muscle-up happened on the 14th day, however, it was with a terrible technique, also known as chicken wings muscle-up where you flare out your elbows.
