Perhaps you are doing the wrong exercises and although most people agree that the bench press is the best chest exercise overall, Frazer says that you should stop doing bench presses. He never felt a good activation of the chest doing the flat bench press and then changed it to the incline dumbbell press.
The second tip from Joe Frazer is to add an extra chest session. He went a bit lighter on that extra chest session to avoid shoulder strain and purely focused on the mind-muscle connection.
Lastly, on how to grow your chest muscles fast, is to change from the standing cable crossover exercise to the seating variation.
Frazer recommends doing 3 sets of this exercise at the end of your session.
- Set 1 to failure (heavy)
- Rest 2 minutes
- Set 2 to failure (one lighter pin on the machine)
- Rest 2 minutes
- Set 3 to failure (one lighter pin on the machine)
