The three-day competition, set to run from October 23 to 25, will determine rankings for the top five athletes and crown The Fittest on Earth.

HOW DOES SCORING WORK FOR THE 2020 CROSSFIT GAMES?

The points from stage 1 will reset to zero entering the final stage, so all athletes start standing on even ground.

1st 100
2nd 75
3rd 55

The number of events for the CrossFit Games finals is yet unknown, but there are ten slots on CrossFit’s broadcasting schedule, ranging from 10 minutes to two hours.

Each rank on a workout will give athletes the corresponding number of points. The athlete with the most points at the end of the competition will be crowned Fittest on Earth.

For the CrossFit Games Finals, last place can either earn 15 or 0 points.

“If it is determined that an athlete is no longer providing their best effort to complete an event, the competition team may award them zero points for their last-place finish rather than 15,” CrossFit explained.
