Following Dave Castro’s first cryptic clue about Event 1, New Girl actor and celebrity CrossFit enthusiast Max Greenfield took to the CrossFit Games Instagram to share some information about the second Games event.
The big reveal came after Dave Castro asked CrossFit fans to guess what IE2 could be on his Instagram, with the prize being you can win your very own Rogue Pig.
So, what can we expect from Individual Event 2?
According to Max (and following a rambling intro about a triplet of movements), Individual Event 2 will be a sled pull, Pig Flip, 42 muscle-ups, back to Pig Flip and sled pull.
What kind of muscle-ups? We don’t know, but it has been a little while since we have seen the Rogue Pig — a 7-foot tall, 560lb slab — at the Games, with the last time being the “Soccer Chipper” event at the 2015 CrossFit Games.

OG Games athletes like Sam Briggs remember an even earlier incarnation of the Pig — or “the naked pig,” from the 2013 Burden Run.
The CrossFit Games will be taking place between the July 27 – August 1, 2021 in Madison, Wisconsin. We now have the full roster of athletes who will be competing in the Individual competition, as well as the Teams, Masters, Teens and Adaptive Divisions.
