WATCH: Zack George Goes Head-to-Head Against Hunter McIntyre

Check out how the UK’s 2020 CrossFit National Champion stacks up against the incredible endurance athlete.

CrossFit athlete Zack George treated multiple Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) World Champion Hunter McIntyre to a day of his training. The pair tackled a couple of workouts at CrossFit BFG and had a good chat.

“It’s going to be really interesting to see how his fitness in OCR translate over to CrossFit,” says Zack early in the video of their training day together.

Workouts

Morning Workout

10 rounds for time:
10 Cal Bike
3 Ring Muscle-Ups
Once the 10th round is completed go straight into:
200 Meter Handstand Walk

Evening Workout

For time
5-4-3-2-1 reps of:
Squat Cleans (110kg – 150kg)
Complete a 30 Cal Row at the start of every set.
Aim is to pre-fatigue the quads and then go into a lift.

Hunter McIntyre

Hunter McIntyre is a 32-year-old multisport athlete with 6 OCR World Titles and a CrossFit Games appearance.

His training field is ‘fitness racing’, which is very similar to CrossFit and functional fitness but with a bigger amount of running involved. He’s the current HYROX World Record holder.
