The end of the CrossFit Games is approaching and we cannot know for sure who is going to win, or who will be 2nd and 3rd on the podium. Check out the individual event 12 results, the second to last for the 2022 CrossFit Games.
Jeffrey Adler won the event in the men’s division while Laura Horvath won for the women.
Note: due to weather conditions, CrossFit removed the “rope climbs” part of the event for the safety of the athletes.

Rank | Athlete | Time |
1 | Jeffrey Adler | 01:17.40 |
2 | Willy Georges | 01:29.25 |
3 | Justin Medeiros | 01:32.82 |
4 | Guilherme Malheiros | 01:39.43 |
5 | Samuel Kwant | 01:39.63 |
Jeffrey Adler simply smoked the competition in this event. He made the yoke look like a feather and CrossFit lovers know how strong he is.
However, most people were eyeing the top 3 athletes who will likely be in the podium at the end of the day: Medeiros, Khrennikov and Garard. Towards the end of the event, Roman Khrennikov looked like he was going to shave off points from Medeiros again, but the American athlete didn’t drop the yoke at all and passed him to extend his lead into the last event of the day.
Garard, sadly, was way off and seemed to struggle during the entire event. He finished 13th overall and now will need a miracle to become the Fittest Man on Earth during his redemption comeback.
In the end, athletes from all 3 heats finished in the top 5, which we haven’t seen during this CrossFit Games yet.
Women
Rank | Athlete | Time |
1 | Laura Horvath | 01:13.11 |
2 | Tia-Clair Toomey | 01:16.08 |
3 | Brooke Wells | 01:21.87 |
4 | Amanda Barnhart | 01:24.37 |

Danielle Brandon began the event in 3rd place overall, but she found it hard to move the yoke and struggled with the front squat lift and didn’t finish the event.
Laura Horvath was on the sidelines and finished ahead of Tia-Clair Toomey. Horvath is now closer to finish the CrossFit Games inside the podium, sidelining Emma Lawson and possibly Danielle Brandon. It all comes down to the last event.
